How to Get Early Access in FIFA 19

Recommended Videos

While early access in some games is a cool bragging right or can help you raise your online level a little, getting early access in FIFA 19 is a huge deal, just as it has been in previous entries in the series. Well, at least it is if you’re into the Ultimate Team mode. With a much smaller number of players in the mode during early access, it can be easier to rank higher in online leaderboards and Squad Battles. These can grant you crazy rewards in the process. Or if Ultimate Team doesn’t interest you, maybe you’re just desperate to carry on Alex Hunter’s career in FIFA 19’s The Journey: Champions. Whatever it is, here’s what you need to know to get early access to FIFA 19.

There are actually two ways you can get playing the game early if you’re on PC or Xbox One. The first method which is exclusive to these platforms is to sign up to EA Access or Origin Access. Doing so will grant you a early access to FIFA 19 for 10 hours of gameplay time from Sept. 20. Once the 10 hours is up, you’ll then have to wait and purchase the game in order to carry on.

Alternatively, you can get early access to FIFA 19 on any platform by pre-ordering the Champions Edition or Ultimate Edition of the game. Doing so will grant you access to the game three days early. It’ll also net you a ton of gold packs for bolstering your Ultimate Team, and much more. These two editions do cost a little bit more than the standard edition, however, so if you want to play the game before its official release date on Sept. 28, you’re going to have to pay for it one way or another.

That’s all you need to know to get early access to FIFA 19. We’ve got plenty of tips, tricks, and guides in our FIFA 19 wiki, so be sure to check them out.
