Fortnite’s celebrating its first birthday today. Can you believe it’s been a year since the Save the World PvE mode that started it all off released? We can’t either, but time sure flies when you’re having fun. Anyway, in order to celebrate this special occasion in the world of Fortnite, Epic Games has introduced a number of Birthday Challenges for players to take on in order to earn some sweet rewards. We thought that you might want a hand in figuring out how to complete all of these Birthday Challenges in Fortnite, so we’ve compiled some handy tips and tricks for you down below.

How to Complete Fortnite’s Birthday Challenges and Get the Birthday Cake Back Bling

  • Play Matches (14) – Considering you’ve got two weeks in order to complete these Birthday Challenges, this just means you need to play one match a day between now and Aug. 7 and you’ll be all good. Though, we won’t blame you if you play more than a match of Fortnite a day!
  • Deal Damage to Opponents (1000) – In the space of 14 matches, unless you’re dying very early on, you’re going to easily deal out 1000 damage to opponents. Considering an opponent with full shield and health will take 200 damage before going down or being eliminated, you only need to take eliminate five opponents to complete this Birthday Challenge. Piece of cake… speaking of cake.
  • Dance in front of different Birthday Cakes (10) – And here’s Fortnite’s Birthday Challenges trickiest one to complete. Don’t get us wrong, dancing in front of some Birthday Cakes scattered across the map isn’t difficult, but you’ll need to go out of your way more to complete this challenge. If you need a hand pinpointing the different Birthday Cake locations, fear not, we’ve got a comprehensive guide for you here.

Complete all of these challenges and you’ll unlock the Birthday Cake Back Bling, alongside an emote, a healthy chunk of XP, and a spray, too!
