How to Play Co-Op Multiplayer in Dying Light
Dying Light follows in the footsteps of games like Dead Island, dropping you right into the middle of an expansive open world littered with zombies that all want to kill you. Parkour is one of your greatest assets for both avoiding and getting the drop on enemies, and while it’s fun to run around Dying Light’s world on your own, it can be even more fun to bring a friend along for the ride in co-op multiplayer.
Dying Light does feature co-op multiplayer, but it can be a bit confusing to get to. First off, you’ll need to play all the way through the tutorial and sleep for the first night. The following morning, you’ll see a pop-up explaining that you can now play multiplayer, and if you open the main menu you’ll be able to select multiplayer and search for local games, or if your friends are playing, their games as well. It should be noted that, in order to play co-op with a friend, they’ll also need to have completed the tutorial and progressed far enough. You can also go to options to adjust your online preferences, like if you want your game to be just for friends/public/invite only etc.
