How to Change Kara’s Clothes & Hair in Detroit Become Human

Recommended Videos

Detroit Become Human might not let players create their characters, but there’s a whole lot of costume changes for all characters throughout the adventure. Kara, in particular, has a part of her storyline where you’re able to change her clothes and hair to blend in more with the humans.

If you chose for Kara and Alice to spend the night in the parking lot, you’ll be able to change Kara’s clothes by going through the trunk of the car. It will require you to get the crowbar first, though. Then, you can get the scissors stabbed into some tire and use those to cut her hair. The last thing you can do – which actually gives you a choice – is change her hair color. You’ll have a choice in which color.

Choosing to stay in the motel in Detroit Become Human first requires you to look human, so you’ll have to steal clothes from the laundromat. This will lead to Kara’s appearance changing right off the bat, there.

What color you choose for her hair doesn’t actually matter for the outcome of the story, by the way. It’s purely there to make her look nice and make you feel like she’s unique to your playthrough. That’s all there is to changing Kara’s clothes and hair in Detroit Become Human!
