How to Complete Community Team of the Season (TOTS) Squad Building Challenge in FIFA 18
Team of the Season (TOTS) has finally arrived in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team and, as usual, the Community Voted Team/Most Consistent Squad is the first up, featuring players who haven’t received a performance based special card this season but have performed well for their real-world clubs. Now that the team’s out in packs, EA has released a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) that awards you with a guaranteed Community TOTS player. Here’s how you complete the SBC:
The SBC’s requirements are quite straight forward. You need a squad with a team rating of 81 or higher, 65 chemistry, and it has to include one Team of the Season player. First of all, choose which TOTS card you’re going to use. You can buy one from the transfer market, but even the cheapest costs 35k coins or more due to the demand that this Squad Building Challenge has prompted. If you’re going to buy one, it’s best to use one from the EFL team, rather than a Community one, because they’ll be cheaper. Alternatively, you can use an untradeable TOTS card you’ may have got from the current Weekly Objectives. The bronze Akinfenwa card or the Carlos Lopez TOTS would be perfect, the latter having the added bonus of boosting the team rating.
Then, you need to build an 81 rated team around him. The best thing to guarantee you have enough chemistry for the Team of the Season Squad Building Challenge in FIFA 18 is to head to one league and choose ten players, in the correct positions, and use them around the TOTS card. You won’t need any links between the TOTS player and the rest of the squad if you do this, and it’s quite easy. The ratings of the players you need to use depend on the rating of the Team of the Season you use, which is where that untradeable Lopez comes in handy. You should be able to get away with 81 rated players and a couple that are lower rated. If all the requirements are ticked off on the left-hand side of the screen, press Submit and open the pack to see which player you get. Good luck!
