How to Lower Discontent in Frostpunk

Recommended Videos

Frostpunk is a ton of fun, but it’s also a lot of stress. Your city is so reliant on you, that you’re going to be making all the rough calls that come along. This will lead to making a lot of people mad. That’s okay, though! This guide will help you out in lowering discontent.

Discontent will rise as you do generally unfavorable things. You’re going to want to avoid choosing the options during events that will raise it up, you’re going to want to not enact any laws that actively warn you discontent will rise, and you’re going to want to not make any promises you can’t keep.

Here are some stuff that help actively lessen the hatred:

  • Building guard stations.
  • Following the Order path of laws, really.
  • Building fighting arenas around houses.
  • Have adequate heaters or heating hubs around.
  • Keep promises you make, don’t choose outsiders over your city’s colonists.

Don’t let the generator turn off and freeze everything! This is crucial for keeping discontent low and hope up. You’ll have a lot of trouble once this happens. Some scenarios, by the way, will purposefully raise your discontent. It will also (thankfully) provide ways to quickly lower it through choices.

Hope this helped you out! If you need more Frostpunk help, though, let us know in the comments below.
