BEST LATIOS COUNTERS IN POKEMON GO

Recommended Videos

Latios is now available in Pokemon GO via raid battles and apparently, it packs quite the punch, which means that you have to have some strong counters that will go in and take care of Latios’ weaknesses, which it has a few of.

Latios is a dragon- and psychic-type Pokemon which makes it weak to these move types: Bug, Dark, Fairy, Dragon, Ghost, and Ice. But be very careful, because while Latios has a lot of weaknesses, the legendary Pokemon carries with it a lot of different types of moves that will knock out your team before you even know what’s happening.

Latios has some heavy hitting moves such as: Solar Beam, Dragon Claw, Psychic, and Dragon Breath, mostly dragon and psychic types. We would recommend using some of these Pokemon to help counter the Pokemon during the raid fight: Rayquaza, Dragonite, Salamence, Tyranitar, Latios himself, Mewtwo, Scizor, Gyrados, and Articuno. There are a few other Pokemon that will be helpful as well, just make sure that they are not super weak against those powerful dragon and psychic type moves that Latios has in his arsenal.

That’s all you need to know about countering Latios in Pokemon GO. For more Pokemon GO tips and general help, be sure to check out our ever-growing wiki guide.
