How Long Far Cry 5 Is & How Many Missions There Are

Recommended Videos

Far Cry 5 has finally arrived on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, and we were pretty big fans of it. Hope County not only looks stunning, but has a whole host of different missions and activities for players to dive right into. As such, some may be wondering exactly how long Far Cry 5 takes to beat, and how many missions there are to blow stuff up in, too.

We finished Far Cry 5 in about 25 hours. This playthrough comprised almost all of the main quests and a fairly substantial amount of the side quest content too. There’s certainly potential for Far Cry 5 to take you far longer, especially if you play on a higher difficulty or want to go for 1000 Gamerscore or the all-important Platinum trophy.

Your main objective throughout the game is to raise the Resistance level in each region so you can confront the Seed sibling running it. You can raise Resistance in a number of ways, from completing resistance main quests, other small side quests, or just messing with the cult’s plans. In total, there are 140 missions, 20 outposts to liberate, and 40 bits of cult property for you to destroy around Hope County. That’s over 200 things you’ll have to do (plus a few other bits and pieces on top of that, too).
