How to Unlock the Preorder Bonus DLC (Day One Edition Sword Set) in Ni No Kuni 2

Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom is here, and excited new owners of the game will be looking forward to getting stuck into Evan’s adventure. As you’ve no doubt heard, the sequel adds a ton of new mechanics to the experience. In particular, the combat has been sharpened with a new real-time battle system. You’re now able to switch between party members and enjoy the dynamics of different playstyles on the fly. As a result, there are stacks of weapons to master, but for those that bought the game on preorder, there’s a special bonus DLC sword set that can be unlocked straight away.

To unlock the preorder DLC, you’ll simply need to speak with the first merchant in Cloudpoint Canyon. This is pretty early in the game, right after you’ve escaped from Ding Dong Dell and met the Sky Pirates. He’ll give you a leafbook first, but then you’ll be able to go through his wares. He’ll have the following swords for sale (your DLC content) for just one Guilder each:

• Jade Katana
• Siren’s Saber
• Cloudcutter
• The Bleeding Edge
• Greenling Glaive
