March 2018Â PS4 VIDEO GAME RELEASES
(WEEKS ONE & TWO: March 1-14)
2018 has been off to a strong start for its first two months, and March looks like it will keep that trend going for PS4 owners. The first two weeks of the month are absolutely stacked with small to medium releases like the return of a classic series with Fear Effect Sedna, the whimsical Scribblenauts Showdown, and Bridge Constructor Portal.
There’s definitely a few highlights, however, and they both come in the way of rereleases. The first week sees Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition on March 6, a veritable Game of the Year edition of the 2016 RPG that comes crammed with all of the updates and DLC so far. Even past that, though, the Royal Edition comes with a bunch of new content, like an entire dungeon added onto the final area, new story scenes, and the Armiger Unleashed ability for Noctis. If you happened to miss this massive RPG, there’s no better time to jump onboard with it. The week also sees the release of the PSVR shooter Bravo Team developed by Supermassive Games. It’s certainly a far cry from their usual games like Until Dawn.
The second week has the Devil May Cry HD Collection releasing on March 13. Dante comes back to the PS4 with all three original Devil May Cry games remastered. In fact, it’s a big week for remasters as we also get The 25th Ward: The Silver Case, a remaster of one of the very first games directed by Goichi Suda, better known as Suda51.

March 2018Â PS4 VIDEO GAME RELEASES
(WEEKS THREE & FOUR: March 15-31)
The last two weeks of March is when things really take off for the PS4, with a wealth of releases hitting the system. The third week gives us three different remastered titles including Burnout Paradise Remastered, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Remastered, and Titan Quest. Anime fans will, no doubt, be looking forward to Attack on Titan 2, the sequel to Koei Tecmo’s surprisingly fun warriors-esque take on the series.
On March 23, the heavy-hitters really start coming with EA’s A Way Out, from the creator of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. On the same day, RPG fans will get their hands on Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, a sweeping JRPG with a Studio Ghibli aesthetic, just like the original. On March 27, however, the biggest release of the month hits with Far Cry 5. It’s more of the Far Cry that fans know and love, but this time it takes us to the United States for the very first time with a Montana setting.
