Dragon Ball FighterZ: How to Tag in Characters

How to Tag in Characters in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball FighterZ brings the intense over-the-top action of the anime series to an all-new fighting game experience developed by Arc System Works of BlazBlue fame. Much like other fighters, Marvel vs. Capcom for instance, Dragon Ball FighterZ lets you bring a trio of characters into battle. This lets you create a robust party of balanced characters, or simply choosing your favorites. With a roster that includes the likes of Goku Black, Yamcha, and Kid Buu, there’s plenty of variation to choose from and different movesets to try out.

Of course, during a match it’s important to swap your characters out, preserving their health and adapting to your opponent while trying to not get a K.O. Luckily it’s incredibly simple to do so, only requiring a quick button hold. You’ll want to hold down L1/LB or L2/LT to switch to the next character. L1 or LB will bring in the character directly below your current character’s health in the top left corner, while L2 or LT will bring in the character below them.

Make sure you don’t lock yourself into playing as each character one-by-one in battle, instead opting to switch and adapt, while also using assists.

That’s all you need to know to tag in characters in the game. For more on Dragon Ball FighterZ, be sure to check out our wiki.
