Should You Save Wyatt or Fergus in Wolfenstein 2?

Recommended Videos

If you’ve played Wolfenstein: The New Order, you’ll already have faced the tough decision of whether to save Wyatt or Fergus at the very start of the game. Wolfenstein 2 repeats this scene, ensuring both newcomers to the series and those who played its predecessor get to shape the story going forward. As such, some players may be wondering whether they should save Wyatt or Fergus when faced with the decision again in Wolfenstein 2.

Ultimately, whether you choose to save Wyatt or Fergus doesn’t really matter all that much in terms of the game’s story, at least. This decision simply changes who you’ll see in cutscenes and what other characters say.

The decision will, however, change which super weapon you get. If you choose to sacrifice Wyatt, you’ll get the Laserkraftwerk, a high energy laser beam capable of disintegrating enemies and thin metal. Choose to sacrifice Fergus and you’ll get the Dieselkraftwerk which is essentially a sticky grenade launcher.

As a result, the main question you should be asking yourself when deciding whether to save Wyatt or Fergus in Wolfenstein 2 is whether you want a powerful laser beam or a sticky grenade launcher.

That’s pretty much all you need to know about the tough decision facing you at the start of Wolfenstein 2. On the upside, at least you get an easy trophy or achievement for doing so.
