How to Get the Skull of Dire Ahamkara Exotic Warlock Helmet in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

There are a few exotics in Destiny 2 that are actually returning pieces from the first game. One such exotic is the Warlock helmet Skull of Dire Ahamkara, which also happens to be one of the sickest looking pieces of armor in the entire game (thanks to the bones of an Ahamkara which is some dragon-like species in the universe). Its perk is geared towards Voidwalkers:

  • Actual Grandeur – Provides additional damage resistance during Nova Bomb. Nova Bomb kills grant Super energy.

This makes it a great PvP piece as you can charge into the fray and get off your super before one of your opponents shoots you out of the air. If you’re lucky, you’ll even have enough defense to survive and get out of there after tearing them up with Void light.

To obtain the Skull of Dire Ahamkara in Destiny 2, you’re going to have to make use of its loot system, as there is no guaranteed way to nab this Warlock helmet. Exotics come from exotic engrams mostly, and can even pop from legendary engrams if luck is really on your side. There are a few ways to earn exotic engrams and rewards in the game:

  • Crucible
  • Heroic Public Events (standard ones can drop them, too, but Heroic offers a higher chance)
  • Vanguard Strike Playlist
  • Nightfall
  • Flashpoint
  • Call to Arms
  • Clan XP

While none of these guarantee an exotic drop, nor do the exotic drops guarantee this particular piece of gear, they offer the best chances. For more on Destiny 2, be sure to check out our wiki.
