Nintendo Switch September 2017 Releases
Nintendo has been adopting the strategy of releasing one major game for the Switch per month, and it’s paid off quite well for them so far. However, September 2017 is looking even more stacked than usual, with a few titles to look out for, especially if you’re into sports or competitive gaming.
The big game release for the Switch in September 2017 in Pokken Tournament DX. The game was originally released on the Wii U, and this is a “deluxe” version of the title, remastered and ported over to the hybrid console. Featuring new Pokemon to experiment with, Pokken Tournament DX is a fun Pokemon fighting game with a story mode, and online functionality that allows you to pit your skills against other players.
NBA 2K18 is another big one to look out for this month, as it’ll serve as the first official sports game to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch. It should be interesting to see how the game runs on the console, and if this version stacks up well against its PS4 and Xbox One counterparts. However, do note that the Sept. 19 release date is only for the digital version of the game. The physical release will be out some time this fall.
FIFA 18 is also dropping on the Switch this month, perfect for sports fans who are more into soccer than basketball.
