HOW LONG GTA V IS AND HOW MANY HEISTS THERE ARE
Since GTA V follows three protagonists, the game needs to spend plenty of time with each one, making it quite a lengthy experience. The other games in the series have been long and the fifth numbered entry is no exception. A single playthrough of the game, focusing on the main missions and heists will likely take you around 25 to 30 hours, with that number being higher if you dive into the huge number of side activities in the game.
The long play time is mostly down to the number of missions there are in the game. There are 69 main missions in the game (that number is probably intentional), all of which add to the story or feature the three main characters. You can see all the missions you have completed from the game’s menu and it will show how many of the 69 you have finished, helping you work out how far through the main story you are. There are also five heists (the game’s large set-piece missions that the story focuses on) that intersect the missions and feature all the protagonists. They also add to the significant length of the game. On top of all the single player activities, GTA Online also offers countless hours of playtime that can be added to the length of the overall experience.
That is how long GTA V is and how many heists and missions there are in the game. For more on all things GTA V, be sure to stick with us at Twinfinite.
