Mass Effect Andromeda: How to Hide Your Helmet

How to hide your helmet in Mass Effect Andromeda

Just as in any RPG that covers your precious character’s face with some sort of head gear, you’re probably wondering how to hide your helmet in Mass Effect Andromeda. Luckily for you, it’s an extremely simple thing to do.

First up, head into the settings menu. From there, select Gameplay settings. Now you’ll want to scroll on down to the setting for “Ryder’s Helmet,” and make a quick decision on your head armor choices.

The first option is for your helmet to show “as equipped.” This means that whether your character is in a conversation, part of a cutscene, or running around the world during regular gameplay, their helm will show if Ryder is wearing a helmet at that part of the story.

The second option is to hide headgear in conversations. That way, even though you have one equipped, you’ll be able to see Ryder’s full face during character-to-character interactions.

The last option is to hide your helmet in conversations and gameplay. This pretty much means you’ll never see a piece of head armor on Ryder.

That’s all you need to know to hide your helmet in Mass Effect Andromeda. For more tips, guides, and general info, be sure to check out our ever-growing wiki.
