All VR Game Releases Coming in February 2017

FEBRUARY 2017 CONFIRMED VR RELEASES (FEB. 1-28)

Even though February is an underwhelming month when it comes to confirmed VR releases, one big title should be enough to get you through until March. Just recently, Double Fine announced that Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin will be making its way to PSVR on Feb. 21.

This latest entry in the Psychonauts series will take place between the events of Psychonauts 1 and the yet to be released sequel. It was originally supposed to release sometime in 2016. After delays through into the new year, it’s confirmed it will be coming as a PSVR exclusive this month.

Another interesting VR release is John Wick Chronicles, a tie in to the John Wick film series coming out on Feb. 9. The film sequel, John Wick: Chapter 2, is scheduled to release a day later on Feb. 10, with the game taking place between of events of the first and second movie.

  • Dying Reborn – PSVR (February, 2017)
  • John Wick Chronicles – HTC Vive (Feb. 9)
  • Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin – PSVR (Feb. 21)

There are also several titles that have yet to receive a release date, but may drop sometime in February…

  • Megaton Rainfall – PSVR (Q1 2017)
  • Obduction – PSVR/Oculus Rift/HTC Vive (2017)
  • Pixel Ripped 1989 – Oculus Rift/HTC Vive (2017)
  • Robo Recall – Oculus Rift/Touch Exclusive (Early 2017)
  • Sharp Shooter – Oculus Rift/HTC Vive (2017)
  • Statik – PSVR (Q1 2017)
  • Unforgiven VR – HTC Vive (Q1 2017)
  • XING: The Land Beyond – PSVR (Q1 2017)

And then of course, there are the elusive “coming soon” titles. Who knows when these will release, but their developers seem to promise it’s sometime soon…ish.
