Microsoft Studios is Microsoft’s video game development and publishing arm. They’re responsible for all of the first-party titles you see release on the Xbox One and now the PC, thanks to the Play Anywhere initiative. While 2017 is going to be a bit lighter than previous years, there are still a few exclusives that should definitely be kept on your radar.

Kicking off the year is Halo Wars 2, an RTS game set in the Halo universe being developed by 343 Industries alongside Creative Assembly. It’s actually the only Xbox One exclusive this year that has a set date, with everything else falling on unknown dates throughout the coming 12 months.

Two other notable projects from Microsoft Studios are Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3. The first is a brand-new title from Rare (Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark) that allows players to live out their pirate dreams on the open sea either alone or with friends. Crackdown 3 allows players to run around a city stopping crime using amazing abilities.
