Dubbed as the Human Rocket, Sam’s helmet allows him to use the same abilities as the previous Nova, Richard Rider. For Marvel vs. Capcom 4, he could easily take down his enemies with a super move that takes them to space, and his energy blasts would continue to pack one heck of a punch. Don’t laugh at his name; despite his size, he can easily use his small size to sucker punch enemies before they know what hit them, all while retaining the strength he’d have at normal size. Dante Pertuz is the current big Fire Guy in the comic book universe, and with his recent appearance in the Avengers cartoon, it’s time for his fire to spread. He can see the flaw in all things, and he’s a master martial artist. With his knowledge of both, he makes for an excellent close range fighter who can take you down before you realize what’s even happening. The brute muscle of the Guardians of the Galaxy doesn’t entirely get the spotlight that he deserves compared to his fellow members. He’s got a know how of combat that spans the galaxy, not to mention a collection of knives and axes that would put most to shame.

He's the Man Without Fear, and he's gone up against ninjas, demons, mobsters, and everything in between. Marvel vs. Capcom is a universe filled with great fighters, and Matt Murdock is one of the best there is over at the House of Ideas, and that's before he takes out his billy club.
Thor (Jane Foster)
Yeah, sure, the Dude Thor (dubbed Snortblat) has been in the games before, but we're talking about the new hotness. She hasn't gotten a game of her own to shine in, and this would be a great place to introduce her to those who haven't read her comics over the past few years.
Inferno

America Chavez
She's getting her first solo comic in a few months, and even discounting that, she's just awesome. America can travel between dimensions, allowing for quick strikes...that also happened to be enhanced by super strength. Plus, you can play her and go "America, YES," and it'll never get old.

Spectrum
The entire electromagnetic spectrum is at the disposal of Monica Rambeau, which can definitely make her good to use far away or right in your face. Not only are being able to turn invisible and shoot energy blasts in her wheelhouse, she can make illusions of herself. Monica hasn't fully gotten her due yet in the world of video games, but with her rising to prominence in The Ultimates, it's time for her to step up.
The Vision
Thanks to the Marvel movies, the android is gaining a surge of popularity, and it'd be smart for them to capitalize on that any way they can. Vision can turn intangible and shoot lasers from his forehead, and knows machines like the back of his hand.
Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur
It's a little girl riding a dinosaur, what more needs to be said? Like with Ferra/Torr in MKX, have them work together as a single unit that shows why it's best that dinosaurs are extinct.
Spider-Gwen
Does whatever a spider can to be sure, but she puts her own flair on it that makes her more than a worthy candidate for a fighting game. She's only picked up fighting from kung fu films, but that definitely doesn't mean you should underestimate her.
Misty Knight
She's a cop with plenty of guns, she knows kung fu, AND she's got a robot arm. If that's not a recipe for success for a fighting game character, we dunno what is. Plus, she can fire concussive blasts and has control over the machines, which certainly doesn't hurt at all.
Luke Cage
Super strength, unbreakable skin. Need we say more beyond the fact that he can slap anyone into unconsciousness with a single hit?
Squirrel Girl
She's beaten Dr. Doom and Thanos, so it stands to reason that she can throw down with the best fighters both her universe and Capcom have to offer. She's got that tail of hers, and being able to communicate with squirrels doesn't hurt either.
Captain Marvel
As one of the most prominent female characters in the Marvel universe as of late, it'd be weirder if Marvel vs. Capcom 4 didn't feature Carol Danvers. Her cosmic powers make a powerful force up close or far away, and she's sure to have a devastating power move where she goes full Binary.
Winter Soldier
Tragic as his backstory is, the WWII soldier turned cyborg assassin has some sweet moves that make him a prime candidate for a fighting game. He's mastered decades worth of fighting styles, guns, and knives, so it's not like he'd be easy to take down, and that's without his arm making things more difficult.
Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes)
The newest iteration of the Spirit of Vengeance doesn't just have a car in place of a motorcycle. The classic chain has knives (or sickles) added on, so no matter if he did long range or close up, he could definitely put up a fight.
Black Panther
Despite his regal background, T'Challa knows how to throw down. Captain America: Civil War showed us a man with some wicked fight moves, and MvC 4 could bring that close range power to players' hands to make him a great character to play over and over.
Silk
Cindy Moon is the newest hero to join Marvel's Spider family, and she's doing a pretty great job so far. With the ability to shoot webs from her fingers, she's got a leg up on other members both long and close range. Can you imagine being webbed up 10 times over? It can't be fun.
Black Bolt
There's more to the former Inhuman king than just his deadly voice. He knows how to fight without it, and when he does deem to use it, well...hope you liked your bones being all in one place.
Medusa
The Queen of the Inhumans has come into her own over the years, and she deserves a game where she can let loose. Her hand to hand makes her formidable, but it's her control over her hair as a secondary weapon that brings makes her an even more worthy candidate for this game.
Miles Morales
By now, everyone's aware that Miles is more than a color swap of Peter Parker. He's got the same Spider powers, but his Venom Blast and camouflage give him a leg up on his enemies, and his youthful energy makes him endearing all on his own.
Melinda May
She's an ordinary human, but she doesn't fight like one. Over four seasons, the Agents of SHIELD character's action scenes have become a highlight of the series (thanks in part to the star power of Ming-Na Wen). With her already being in other Marvel games, Marvel vs. Capcom 4 could greatly benefit from her awesome.
Ms. Marvel
Kamala may not have the extensive hand to hand fighting expertise that some of the others on this list do, but what she lacks in experience, she makes up for in inventiveness. Her shapeshifting abilities show how flexible she can be when she's allowed to embiggen, which she does really damn well.
