Pokemon Sun and Moon: Where to Find Dugtrio

Dugtrio – Pokemon Sun and Moon

Dugtrio is another Pokemon that was lucky enough to get its very own Alola Region form in Pokemon Sun and Moon. It’s a bit odd looking, what with its flowing yellow locks of hair and all, but that’s part of Dugtrio’s charm. To obtain this Pokemon (outside of evolving it from a Diglett), you’ll have to make your way to the games’ third island, Ula’ula Island.

After completing a couple of trials on this island, the map will open up more to you. Eventually, you’ll be able to access the Haina Desert, the large sandy spot that can be found on the southern half of the Ula’ula Island map. You can randomly encounter a Dugtrio in this area as you walk around. It doesn’t have the highest appearance rate, but it’s not ridiculously rare either, so just wander around here for a few minutes and you’ll be sure to get your very own blonde trio of moles.

Once you get your prize, you’re free to get back to exploring and becoming the very best trainer to ever participate in the Alola Region’s Island Challenge. Good Luck!
