No matter whether you win or lose, come top of your team or end up at the very bottom, or even what kind of multiplayer mode you play, you’ll earn Credits. That applies to both Versus Multiplayer’s range of different modes, as well as Horde 3.0. The amount of credits you get may not be a lot, but a slow and steady income will eventually add up enough to grab at least the Versus or Horde boosters.

Of course, not everyone is going to be happy with simply getting a small amount of Credits. Therefore, it’s always a good idea to take notes on how your opponents are playing or your teammates are achieving higher scores. Learning and improving your game is one of the best ways to ensure that the bare minimum number of Credits you earn steadily improves.

Pick the Right Modes in Gears of War 4

Just as it makes a difference to your XP, picking the right game mode will yield larger amounts of Credits for your game time. It all comes down to your score at the end of a match, and because of this, objective-based game modes tend to be the best for leveling up and making it rain with credits.

This is because objective-based modes such as Escalation and King of the Hill reward players with 200+ points each time they capture or break a ring. Due to this, it’s easy to rack up far bigger scores over the duration of a match. With a bigger score at the end of the match, you’ll automatically have performed better than you would have done in something like Team Deathmatch or Execution. Or at least that’s how the game determines it anyway. Play the right game modes to make the most out of your time spent playing online.

Bounties in Gears of War 4

While many will associate Bounty Cards with XP bonuses, there are a good few which can also net you a bunch of Credits for your efforts. Making sure that you pick the right consumable Bounty Cards for your style of play and fortés will allow you to earn more Credits for simply playing how you naturally do.

While Bounty Cards are consumable, they won’t be consumed until you’ve completed the bounty. This means that you won’t have to worry about losing a card if you fancy trying a different bounty and cannot beat the one you’re currently on.

That’s really all there is to getting Credits quickly in Gears of War 4’s multiplayer. Other than making the most of the resources given to you, there’s no secret method to earn thousands quickly. Of course, if you’re really desperate for those Gear Packs, you can pay for them with real-life money.
