While playing through Battleborn, you’ll notice that you can unlock and use Gear. These are items you can equip as part of a loadout to give yourself an edge during a session. Some of these are Legendary and require you to use each character in specific ways to unlock.

These pieces of Legendary Gear can only be used by the characters needed to unlock them, but they greatly increase their abilities. All unlocks are done through Lore Challenges, and each character has their very own.
