Ratchet & Clank PS4: How to Get the RYNO and its Holocards

Ratchet & Clank has a ton of different weapons to add to your arsenal of destruction. Each one has different, unique abilities to handle any enemies and they’re all for the most part bought from the weapons vendor with bolts. The RYNO, however, cannot be bought. RYNO stands for Rip Ya A New One, by the way.

The RYNO is an incredibly powerful rocket launcher that can annihilate your foes right in your wake. It is easily one of the strongest, if not the strongest, weapon in the game. Naturally, it’s not that easy to get a hold of it. You can’t buy it with a bunch of bolts in the new Ratchet & Clank. No, you’ll need to complete a holocard set for this, as well as for its upgrades. When you’re in Rilgar, after you’ve completed the main objective on that planet, you’ll open up the side quest that will have you adventuring through the sewers. Once you follow this white rabbit, you’ll be faced with a very shady looking character of questionable motives. He’ll offer you a RYNO in exchange for three of its holocards, and he’ll give you a Trespasser to aid you in your mission.

Two of the holocards needed are right on Rilgar. Head through the doors locked behind a hackable terminal (use your new Trespasser) and you’ll reach the first. For the second, you’ll need to win first place in the Rilgar hoverboard racing Gold-Cup championship. It’s not that easy, but hey, a RYNO is worth it.

Keep on the lookout for locations that go off the beaten path and you’ll find all RYNO cards in no time. If you have the Map-O-Matic, this gets even easier.
