We’re all very excited for Dark Souls 3 and in an interview on YouTube, Global Brand Manager at Bandai Namco Games America Mike Chang revealed some new information about what the story of Dark Souls 3 will be like and how the boss fights will play out.

When it comes to plot, Chang revealed that Dark Souls 3’s plot will be even darker than the previous Souls games and that the game will be set during the end of the world and even the bonfires are going out.

When it comes to boss fights, Chang said that there will be fewer humanoid bosses compared to Dark Souls 2 and that Hidetaka Miyazaki (the director behind Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3) is bringing his personal touch to the fights. An example given was that of a boss called the Dancer of the Frigid Valley who doesn’t have predictable attacks and moves very quickly and gracefully.
