Freeeeeeeeeeee!!!
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

Last year, a little MMO shooter by the name of Wildstar came out. Carbine Studios’ title got pretty solid reviews and plenty of players, but as is the case with any MMO that isn’t World of Warcraft, eventually got announced as going to the free to play model. Today, Carbine’s finally revealed when that is, and it’ll be hitting players come September 29.

The free to play update, dubbed Wildstar: Reloaded, will come with plenty of changes for new and old players to get into. Aside from the new character creation and intro sequence, there’ll be a revamp to class stats, bonus events, and a lot of more goodies. Best of all is the Cosmic Rewards program, where players can level up through Cosmic Tiers by buying things in the online store. Any money spent in the game, even on a subscription, will go towards your Cosmic Tier. If you’re a player who wants something extra, you can join the Wildstar Signature service that provides new bonuses and rewards on top of the base game.

Any of this got you interesting in picking up Wildstar for the first time, or coming back if you dropped off? Let us know in the comments below.
