The highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due to be released on September 1st on consoles and the PC. However, those of you who are really looking forward to the game may be interested to know that the original soundtrack for the game will be released a day later on September 2nd in Japan.
Konami has confirmed that the Metal Gear Solid V Original Soundtrack is going to be released the day after The Phantom Pain and will include songs from both Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but also from Ground Zeroes. The soundtrack will include over fifty songs and a special edition will also be released which will include two soundtrack CDs, a special B2 size poster, special PC desktop and smartphones wallpapers.
So far, the soundtrack has only been announced for a release in Japan but it seems quite likely that Western fans will be able to get their hands on it eventually. If it really is exclusive to Japan then fans could purchase and then import the soundtrack.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due to be released on September 1st for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
