This is the definitive Summon Heroes tier list, ranking all characters in the game based on their performance in all three major game modes (PvE, PvP, and Tournament). Use it as a guide on which characters to deploy depending on the game mode, as well as which ones to prioritize regarding summoning and upgrades. Details about each character are listed further in the guide.
Summon Heroes Tier List (PvE, PvP, & Tournament)
We created tier lists for the three major game modes in Summon Heroes (PvE, PvP, and Tournament), as character performance can vary immensely depending on their attacks/abilities and other factors. Scroll down to check out each of the tier lists.
Ranking Factors
- Attacks & Abilities: The basic attack and the ability are what define each character in Summon Heroes. Some characters spawn minions, some deal AoE damage, some CC enemies, and some are just experts at dealing damage with their basic attacks. The better the ability/attack and its cooldown, the better the character is.
- ATK, HP, SPD, & CD: Base ATK scales with rarity, while all other stats are unique for each character. If a character is a tank, they will need good HP. If a character is a damage-dealer, they’ll need high ATK and low cooldowns on their basic attack/ability.
- Rarity & Obtainment Difficulty: Generally, the higher the rarity of a character, the stronger it is. However, higher-rarity characters are more difficult to obtain, and that’s why low-rarity characters are most often the only option for the early game.
- Versatility: Some characters are used with their ability toggled off, which can make them underperform in Tournament. The best characters are often the ones that work well regardless of whether their ability is on or off.
PvE Tier List
In the image above is the tier list of all characters in Summon Heroes based on their PvE (Story, Dungeons, Nightmare Circus, etc.) performance. Units with high sustained DPS that can deal with bosses, as well as those that can summon minions to tank regular mobs, are the kings of PvE.
PvP Tier List
In the image above is the tier list of all characters in Summon Heroes based on their PvP (1v1, 2v2, 1v1v1, etc.) performance. Characters that have high survivability, burst damage, and CC will often be the best options for PvP. Summoners lose value in PvP as conventional tanks have much better sustain and better DPS.
Tournament Tier List
In the image above is the tier list of all characters in Summon Heroes based on their Tournament performance. The tournament is different from regular PvP, with every battle automated and ability usage toggled on for all characters. Characters that are good in regular PvP and don’t have abilities that make them weaker when toggled on are the best options for Tournament mode.
