In a ‘Happy New Year’ video message from Inafune, we’re shown a bit of the game’s difficulty as even Keiji Inafune himself seems to be having difficulty passing one of the platformer’s many levels.

“We’re pretty much finished,” Inafune said on the progress of the game “and from now we’ll be heading into the porting and promotion stage.”

“We’ll be burning the midnight oil over here, working hard everyday all the way to launch,” he said.

Mighty No. 9 is coming this Spring 2015 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
