Onions can be bought at Goofy’s Stall in the Forest of Valor after players have upgraded the shop with Star Coins. After you’ve enhanced the character’s stall in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll be able to purchase seeds for 50 Star Coins or buy one outright for 225 Star Coins.

Since it’s cheaper to get onions in seed form, players can expect them to grow after an hour or so has passed. But be sure to water them when the time comes because you won’t be able to harvest them while they are in a brown-colored state. Furthermore, if you don’t have enough resources to make the proper upgrades to Goofy’s Stall, you can experiment with the ingredient at Remy’s realm to create new dishes.

It should be noted that any ingredients and meals players acquire at Remy’s realm won’t appear in your inventory when they exit this location. Therefore, you won’t be able to gift these items or use them for quests in the remaining areas of Dreamlight Valley.

Once players get onions from the shop/garden, they can make high-quality recipes, such as Arendellian Pickled Herring, Ratatouille, and Potato Leek Soup. Moreover, many characters will ask for dishes with this ingredient in several quests or while they eat at Remy’s restaurant.
