Thankfully, saving in Bayonetta 3 is pretty straightforward. Between Verses, the game employs an auto-save feature, which is represented by a purple icon that appears in the bottom right of the screen.

On the other hand, if you want to manually save during gameplay, you’ll need to hop into the Chapter Select screen by pressing + on your Nintendo Switch controller, and choose the ‘Save’ option.
