If you go into the game shop and look for Legacy Credits there, you won’t find anything. They’re a special currency that cannot be purchased through any means. There’s only one method for obtaining them.

How to Get Legacy Credits in Overwatch 2

If you had any leftover Overwatch Credits in the original game, then they will carry over to Overwatch 2 in the form of Legacy Credits. There is no other way to obtain more of this currency once it has all been used up, so spend wisely.

It’s also important to make sure that you’re using the same Battle.net account across both games, or else the Credits from Overwatch won’t transfer to Overwatch 2.

Legacy Credits can be used to buy anything that you can get with Overwatch Coins in Overwatch 2. When selecting an item to buy from the shop, it’ll ask if you would like to use one currency or the other. Select Legacy Credits, then click YES to finalize your purchase.
