With great critical reception, Massive Monster’s Cult of the Lamb looks set to be yet another hit in the Devolver Digital library of games. Tasking players to build and run a cult of their own to serve an ominous stranger, this is a journey that will definitely take some blood, sweat, and tears. However, while it will still take a significant amount of time to get to the end, there are already those wondering if Cult of the Lamb has DLC or post-game content, and here’s what you’ll need to know.
Cult of the Lamb DLC Plans
At this point, Cult of the Lamb is a full experience that can be played for as long as players like, but that’s certainly not all Massive Monster is planning. In response to a query on Reddit, a developer has shed some light on what could be coming in the future.
“This is a really good question. For launch (game 1.0) the game will be playable start to finish and then you will be free to continue your cult as long as you like.
However, new game+ is something we are talking lots about at the moment. Hades to us is the gold standard for it and it is something we plan to address as soon as we are ready for launch. So while we won’t have a lot of new game+ on day 1, you can expect a lot lot more coming over the following months as we have plans to support the game as long as we can. We definitely want to give reasons for you to keep playing and playing”

The news of more upcoming content is excellent, providing players with even more reason to stick with the game as they progress. A New Game Plus mode will be fun too, allowing players to take on the challenge with more power at their disposal. In any case, the future looks bright for any aspiring cult.
