Her Elemental Skill, Lingering Lifeline, allows her to move quickly, marking her enemies with the Lifeline. When she stops, the Lifeline will explode, dealing Hyrdo damage to any marked target. Depth-Clarion Dice, her element burst, creates Wondrous Dice that will assist the active character and do area of effect damage. Yelan can cast Depth-Clarion Dice, then switch with another character for great sub DPS synergy. In this article, we will run through some of the best Yelan build in Genshin Impact to take advantage of the character.

The Best Yelan Build In Genshin Impact

Best Weapons for Yelan

Hands down, the best weapon for Yelan is the Aqua Simulacra, but that will require a lot of luck as it is a 5-Star bow that you can only get from a Banner. It will increase Yelan’s health by sixteen percent and increase damage by twenty percent when enemies are close. It will also boost critical damage.

For a sub-DPS build, Favonius Longbow is a great option for those who are unwilling to invest in getting the Aqua Simulacra. This 4-Star bow can be obtained from Banners, so check the active weapon Banner in-game to see if it is included. Critical hits with this bow will have a chance to generate energy. Failing that, Elegy of the End is a solid option as it will give increased Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery.

For free-to-play folks out there, the Recurve Bow is well worth exploring. The massive boost to her health the bow provides will be hugely beneficial.

Best Artifacts for Yelan

The Emblem of Severed Fate, available from the Momiji-Dyed Court Domain in Inazuma, is a fantastic option for Yelan. It will increase energy recharge at two pieces, and at four pieces it will increase Elemental Burst damage by 25% of your energy recharge, which plays well into most of our weapon options.

Failing that, a two-piece Noblesse Oblige set combined with the backup artifact set of your choice is a good option, but it really is worth leaning hard into Yelan’s Elemental Burst and using her as a sub DPS to back up a powerful main damage-dealing character.

The Best Stats for Yelan

For specific stats, it is a good idea to chase both Crit Rate and Crit Damage, along with increased health and energy recharge. An overall bonus to Hydro Damage would be very beneficial, offering an easy boost to her damage output, even if all you are doing is casting her burst and then switching her off-field for another character. Due to the way Yelan scales, simple HP buffs are some of the best that you can get, as they will always increase her damage output.
