Stranger of Paradise has 19 side missions that can be infinitely replayed in an effort to grind the necessary gear to later take on Chaos difficulty. Side missions are certainly not required to beat the game. The mission level path the main missions take is more than enough to carry you without any extra grinding.

- Azure Memories: The Stymied
- Azure Memories: The Sacrifice
- Coral Memories: The Greedy
- Ebon Memories: The Tragic Cynic
- Ebon Memories: The Truthseeker
- Ebon Memories: The Yearner
- Ebon Memories: The Power-Hungry
- Azure Memories: The Rebel
- Scarlet Memories: The Fallen
- Coral Memories: The Avenger
- Ebon Memories: The Soul Seeker
- Ebon Memories: The Warrior
It should be noted there are also 8 side missions found in the ??? area, but they serve only as tutorials for each of the different weapon types. These tutorials are useful but lack any reward for completion.
Ebon Memories: The Warrior sits at mission level 130 on any of the standard difficulty, but at Chaos difficulty it raises to 210. This means there will be quite a bit of grinding to do if you want to clear these on the highest possible difficulty.
