The Crystalians are crystallized enemies that show up as bosses in various dungeons in Elden Ring, and are most commonly found in underground caves, mines, or tunnels. When you try to do damage to them with regular attacks, you’ll soon find that they don’t seem very effective. There’s a small trick to this fight, and we’re here to help with that.

Beating the Crystalians in Elden Ring

Basically, the key to beating the Crystalians is by using blunt damage to break their super armor. If you’re using a melee build, you’ll want to consider using hammers, clubs, or any sort of blunt weapon against them. And if you’re a magic user, your best bet is to use the Rock Sling spell, which does massive blunt damage.

If you keep pelting the Crystalians with blunt damage, their super armor will quickly break, allowing you to land a critical hit on them. Past that point, you can start hitting them with your regular weapons and you’ll deal massive damage to them, regardless of your weapon’s damage type.

It’s worth noting that there are a couple of instances where you’ll be forced to fight two Crystalians instead of one, with one focused on melee and attacks and the other focused on casting spells. You’ll want to deal with the melee one first, as it’ll keep chasing you down. Hide behind a pillar or some debris to avoid the spells from the other Crystalian and take out the melee one first, then you focus on the mage.

That’s all you need to know about how to beat the Crystalians in Elden Ring. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
