Much like its predecessor, Horizon Forbidden West features light RPG mechanics that allow players to upgrade Aloy’s skills and weapons according to their preferences. But what if you actually realize that skill you invested in towards the beginning of your adventure was a bad move, and those skill points would be better invested elsewhere. Well, here’s what you need to know about how to respec in Horizon Forbidden West.
While this feature wasn’t available at launch, Sony studio Guerrilla Games has announced that players can now respec Aloy on their adventure, following a major update that’s come to the game.
How to Respec Skill Points in Horizon Forbidden West
To respec, you’ll need to make sure you’ve got the June 2022 update installed for Horizon Forbidden West. As long as you do, you can load up your game, head to the ‘Skills’ screen and press the Options button to reset your skills.
It should be noted that doing this will reset all skills across all six of the skill trees, so make sure you’re absolutely happy to entirely respec Aloy before confirming this.
