Elden Ring is unquestionably the most magic-focused title in the Soulsborne franchise. There are so many spells that you can learn and add to your gear through Ashes of War that it can be a chore to keep track of everything. But if you’re into Sorceries, then you’ll want to find a certain merchant. Here’s everything you need to know about where to find Sorceress Sellen in Elden Ring.
Where to Find Sorceress Sellen in Elden Ring
Sorceress Sellen can be found in the cellar at Waypoint Ruins wearing a large head-shaped helmet. Post Town Ruins is located to the far eastern edge of the starting area, Limgrave. It’s almost exactly due east from the area where you took your first steps into the open world. Take a look at the map below for the exact location.
You may have even stumbled upon it before while exploring the world. This is the area where you’ll find a grouping of pink Poison Flowers and one Giant Poison Flower. You can take them out if you would like, but it’s not a requirement for finding Sorceress Sellen. Defeating the flowers just makes finding her less of a mad dash.
In Post Town Ruins, you’ll find a flight of stairs leading into a small enclosed area with a boss known as Mad Pumpkin Head because of the giant Pumpkin-shaped helm he wears. Fell this minor boss and head through the door opposite the entrance to the cramped arena.
Through this door, you’ll find the merchant Sorceress Sellen. She sells Sorcery spells by the cellar door. Down below is a list of every Sorcery that you can purchase from Sellen.
- Glintstone Pebble (1000 Runes)
- Glintstone Stars (3000 Runes)
- Glintstone Arc (1500 Runes)
- Crystal Barrage (1500 Runes)
- Scholar’s Armament (3000 Runes)
- Scholar’s Shield (2500 Runes)
