Nintendo, Please Make This Fan-Made Metroid Dread Manual a Reality

Metroid Dread, Nintendo Switch

If you miss the good old days of buying video games in person at Midnight on launch day and flipping through its freshly printed manual to find out all of the fun that is in store for you when you boot it up, then you’re going to love this Metroid Dread cover that one Redditor has created.

As you can see in the post to the Metroid Dread subreddit below, user RowanFN1 has created a gorgeous customized printout of Nintendo’s latest hit video game. The packet features around 20 pages, including a table of contents, characters, controls, maps, upgrades, and so much more.

In the comment section of the post, RowanFN1 revealed they got the idea to create the manual while looking through older ones from their collections. Thumbing through those old manuals helped set the style and format for what turned out to be an amazing pamphlet.

Digging a little further revealed that the user is actually selling the manual on Etsy, which you can find here. Anyone that wants to get their very own version can purchase it through the listing for £10.00. Reviews also show that the work that RowanFN1 – who goes by MBPUK on Etsy – is really well done, so you don’t have to worry about it being a scam either.

The page also has plenty of other amazing base booklets, included ones for Zelda Skyward Sword HD, Super Mario 3D + Bowser’s Fury, and Animal Crossing.
