With the release of FIFA 22, players are once again ready to dive into another season of Ultimate Team. The game mode that lets you build your team from the ground up is back, introducing plenty of new features and just as many returning ones. As always, you’ll need to open packs to get the players you want, and we’ve got all the info you’ll ever need on those packs inside. Here is everything you need to know about what you get in every pack in FIFA 22.
You’ll earn packs in FIFA 22 by doing a number of different things in the FIFA Ultimate Team mode. The main way you’ll collect them is by completing objectives.
These objectives range from set Squad Building Challenges and overall seasonal seasonal objectives. Once you complete a task on your list, your reward is a pack that features new players of varying skill levels that you can add to your roster or sell for coins.
Coins allow you to buy other players or packs as well. As such, you’ll want to finish all of your daily, weekly, and seasonal objectives as quickly as possible to get more coins and packs.
What You Get in Every Pack in FIFA 22
Now that you know how to get packs, it is time to dive into what you’ll get from each one.
You’ll notice for some of the packs below there is “small” in parentheses. These mean that the packs are half the size, containing the same rewards, just halved.

Preview Packs
Following a successful trial period in FIFA 21, Preview Packs have returned in FIFA 22. This grants players the chance to open one pack of a particular type each day to see the contents without buying it.
If you like what’s inside the Preview Pack, you can then proceed to purchase it within a 24-hour window. If you don’t, simply leave it and you’ll be able to preview another one 24 hours later.
Specifically, players can preview the following:
- Premium Gold Preview Pack
- Premium Silver Preview Pack
It remains to be seen whether more preview packs will be added into FIFA 22 throughout the year, but we’ll update this post and let you know if there are.
