The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD has finally arrived. It is one of the last holdouts from the Wii U era, truly one of the last few games worth porting, that has only now made the jump many years into the Switch’s lifespan. In any event, now that it’s here, people naturally have questions. In this guide, we’re going to go over how to heal your health in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.
How to Heal Your Health (Heart Meter) in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD
Healing your health and restoring your heart meter in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is pretty similar to previous games in the series. But if this is your first, don’t worry, it’s quite easy.
You can get hearts to fill up your health bar in a variety of different ways. First you can clear plants, pots and other random debris for hearts. They are also dropped from defeating enemies, so if you get through a tough fight, you may be rewarded with some health.
You can also heal your health by sitting on a chair or bench. It goes a bit slow, but it’s worth the wait if you desperately need it.
Keep in mind, if you’re playing on Hero Mode (new game plus essentially) all of the above methods won’t work. You’ll only be able to heal your health using the last method: Health Potions (works in all modes) which can be infused with bugs that you get to make it even stronger than usual.
That’s everything you need to know about how to heal your health (heart meter) in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. For more tips, tricks, and guides, search for Twinfinite, or head on over to our dedicated Skyward Sword wiki here.
