One of the Fortnite Season 6 week 11 challenges requires you to ‘Visit Ghost and Shadow Ruins’ but if you’ve checked your map, you’ll find there aren’t any named locations or landmarks referred to as these. Fortunately, we’ve got your back, and will guide you through where to visit Ghost and Shadow Ruins in Fortnite.
The week 11 challenges will go live at 10am ET/ 3pm BST on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Completing this challenge will earn players 24,000 XP.
The ‘ruins’ this challenge is referring to are actually old landmarks from Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2’s spy season. If you were playing back then, you’ll remember that Ghost and Shadow were the two different ‘spy groups’ that were battling for control of the map. Players could visit locations like The Grotto, The Shark, The Yacht and more, and it’s two of these that can still be found on the map that you’ll need to visit to complete this challenge.
Where to Visit Ghost & Shadow Ruins in Fortnite
The two locations you need to visit are what was the old Shark island in the very northwest corner of the map, and what was the Grotto just south of Dirty Docks and northeast of Retail Row. We’ve circled these on the map below for your convenience.
For clarification, the Shark island is the Shadow Ruin, and The Grotto is the Ghost ruin. There are no other ghost or shadow ruins you can head to on Fortnite’s map in the current season.
Simply heading to each of these locations will be enough to complete the Fortnite week 11 challenge, earning you 24,000 XP in the process.
