Nier Replicant features a vast open-world where players have to rely on clues and exploration in order to find objectives and quests. While this can be fun for some, it may frustrate those who just want to play each questline. Luckily, we’ve got plenty of information to help you locate everything in the game. Here is everything you need to know about where to find treasure map and treasure in Nier Replicant.
Where to Find Treasure Map in Nier Replicant
To start, you’ll have to head to the Library. Once you’ve arrived, head to the second floor, and then circle around to the upper right corner. Interact with the bookcase and you’ll find the map.
Once you get the map, you’ll get instructions to restore the map at the Strange Things store in Facade. Head over there, and then give the shop owner 3 Machine Oil, 3 Eggplant, and 3 Goat Hides and he’ll fix the map.
Treasure Location
Once he fixes it, head back to the quest giver. When you arrive, you’ll meet his wife, who then asks you to find the treasure in his place. Head over to Popola to get the map deciphered and she’ll end up pointing you toward a room in the Lost Shrine where the sun doesn’t reach.
This room can be found in the upper left corner of the second floor, which can only be reached by taking the makeshift walkway. Once you make it here, the treasure will be in the last room you can reach.
Return to the Blacksmith and you’ll end up speaking to his wife in his place. She’ll end up asking you to sell her hair ornament to get something to bring back for her husband. Accept the option to sell it, then bring the ornament to the Strange Things shop in Facade to get a gold coin.
Head back to the Blacksmith and give him the coin in return for another treasure map. Get Popola to decipher this one as well and then head to the broken railway in the Northern plains.
Go to the beginning portion of the railway, just east of the Forest of Myth entrance, and look for a gleam. Head over to it and pick it up to be rewarded with a powerful Spear.
