How to Get Tojo Clan Crests and What They Do in Yakuza Like a Dragon

To start, you won’t be able to find Tojo Clan Crests right away in Yakuza Like a Dragon.

Instead, they’ll start appearing about halfway through the game. You’ll know you’ve reached said point when you receive a mysterious message asking for your cooperation in finding the crests scattered around the cities in the game.

After receiving this message, there will be a number of new shiny spots throughout Yokohama which you can examine for items. Most all of them will be Tojo Clan Crests.

To that end, you’ll want to keep an eye out for shiny spots and examine any you find. Some will be out in the open on sidewalks, but others will be up along staircases, behind garbage cans, and underneath bikes and motorcycles that can be destroyed by running into them.

How to Get Tojo Clan Crests from Enemies

You can also get Tojo Clan Crests from rare enemies in Yakuza Like a Dragon.

After each area sees a spike in the power level of enemies, rare foes will start to spawn among them. It’s easy to spot these adversaries, as they’ll be several levels stronger than their allies.

So long as you’re able to defeat them, there’s a high chance they’ll drop a few Crests apiece. As an added bonus, there doesn’t seem to be a limit to how many of them can spawn, making this method great if you’re having trouble finding shiny spots.

Where to Exchange Tojo Clan Crests in Yakuza Like a Dragon

As for what gathering all of these Tojo Clan Crests gets you in Yakuza Like a Dragon, it’s pretty worthwhile.

In the same message that lets you know about the Crests, you’ll be told to head to the Hotel Grande Blu Marino once you have some in your possession. The hotel can be found in the upper-right corner of the map, and we’ve included a screenshot to help you along down below.

Head to the point on the map, and then head inside the hotel. Continue through the hotel and head out the exit leading into a courtyard. This should trigger a cutscene where you’ll be introduced to an NPC named Kamulop.

He’s a former member of the Tojo Clan, and he’ll give you rare items for any of the collectibles you bring to him. These include special weapons, two of the game’s secret summons, and much more.
