Set in near-future London, Watch Dogs Legion is the latest entry in Ubisoft’s open world sci-fi series. Unlike the first two games, though, there’s no singular protagonist to follow in this one. Instead, you can recruit characters in the open world and play as them instead. Here’s how and where to find spies in Watch Dogs Legion.
Where to Find Spies in Watch Dogs Legion
Spies are some of the best skilled operatives you can get in Watch Dogs Legion, but if you’re playing on permadeath mode and you happen to get yours killed, fret not. You can always get a replacement. There’s one guaranteed way to get a spy, and you can get more later on.
Liberating Boroughs
The guaranteed way to get a spy is by liberating the borough of Westminster. After doing the three main tasks within that borough, you’ll unlock a borough liberation mission for Westminster, and upon completing that mission, a spy will be added to your roster.
If you’d like to recruit one from the open world, however, things will get a little trickier.
Recruiting in the Open World
Spies aren’t exactly just walking all over the streets of London; you need to know where to find them. From what we’ve seen so far, they seem to spawn most frequently near the MI6 building in Lambeth. We’ve included a screenshot down below to show where you can find this location on the map.
If you take a look around this area, you can scan the NPCs walking by you and chances are good that you just might find a spy that you can recruit to your roster. Once you locate one, you can take a look at their abilities, then do a quick mission for them to recruit them. That’s all there is to it.
That’s all you need to know about where to find spies in Watch Dogs Legion. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
