Ooblets: How to Get Quib Tart

If you want to challenge wild Ooblets to a dance battle, you’ll need to have enough of a certain material or food. What this is will change depending on the type of Ooblet you’re trying to dance off against. The Quib Tart is one item that appears to be very popular with Ooblets, and so you’ll need to know how to get them. In this guide, we’ll run you through how to get Quib Tarts in Ooblets.

Getting Quib Tarts in Ooblets

There are two ways to get Quib Tarts in Ooblets. The first is to get a bit lucky by foraging for them in Badgetown itself. You’ll often find furniture or random areas of the world glistening. Interact with these and you’ll find an item or message.

From our experience, heading into the back right-hand room in the town hall (where you place all those Ooblet statues and fought the Clickyclaws at the beginning of the game) and interacting with the filing cabinet netted us a free Quib Tart.

Foraging is a little bit hit and miss, though, due to the fact you could get a random item from any of these locations. Even the one we mentioned above.

Making Quib Tarts

Instead, the easier way to get Quib Tarts in Ooblets is to just make them yourself. To do so, go to your farmhouse and interact with the little camping stove on the left.

Here, you can make a variety of different food items (as long as you’ve got the ingredients) that can be used to take part in dance-offs with wild Ooblets so you can beat them and get their seeds, or be consumed to restore energy.

You’ll be able to make Quib Tarts from the very beginning of the game.

You won’t have to unlock the recipe, but you will need to have the following ingredients:

• Froobtose x1
• Quib x2

As long as you do, select the Quib Tart from the menu of available items you can make and confirm your selection. It’ll then be immediately added to your inventory.

For those unsure, Quibs can be obtained by shaking trees around Badgetown. Froobtose can be made by growing Sweetieberries on your farm and then placing these in the Crusher (you’ll get one as part of the tutorial). Remember you need to assign an Ooblet to the Crusher for it to work.
