The Last of Us 2 has been out for just a few days now. Whether you’re still playing, or just finished, you have to admit that the game looks amazing. There are so many moments that needed to be captured, so here are 10 amazing in-game screenshots from The Last of Us 2.

This shot from early in the game probably made most people stop to take a screenshot. Joel riding through a field at sunset while overlooking the town of Jackson makes for a beautiful moment to start the sequel.
A T-Rex is not something I thought I’d see in The Last of Us 2, but this is a screenshot that had to be taken immediately. The forest setting combined with the little peek through the trees adds a nice touch to this one.
Here’s another giant fake animal for you viewing pleasure. The whale was also an unexpected addition to the game. It’s a nice, majestic surprise that’ll give you that screenshot urge as soon as you come across it on your journey in The Last of Us 2.
This screenshot is a bit of an odd one, but the rainy weather and flooded terrain provide a great shot. Ellie hanging out on the rope overlooking the area is just a weird little added bonus here.
Just like the previous screenshot, the rain and water effects in The Last of Us 2 have created another must-capture moment. The lighting also does wonders for this eerie image.
No rain this in this one, but here’s another action shot. This time, it’s Ellie looking like she means business. The Last of Us 2 has is great at a few things, and one of them is creating screenshot-worthy moments with its lighting.
This one’s another Ellie-focused screenshot, but from the official media site for The Last of Us 2. Ellie is the focal point, surrounded by greenery in all directions. Shots like these wouldn’t be possible without photo mode, so thank goodness for that.
Environments in The Last of Us 2 never cease to amaze, so screenshots are bound to be taken constantly. Here’s another one from the media site that shows us a sinking Seattle being traversed by Ellie.
The game’s scenery also shines without characters around. This shot of an altar and mural is proof of that. Don’t run around from place to place too quickly, or you might just miss moments like these.
This last one is a bit similar to the first screenshot on this list. There’s a peaceful and calm atmosphere which is something you just don’t find too often in The Last of Us 2.
