The Bigger Game – Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
PS Plus Free Games Predictions
It’s almost time for Sony to announce what free games will be featured on PS Plus for the upcoming month of June 2020, and we have a few predictions as to what those free games might be.
Subscribers to Sony’s online platform are also gifted two free PS4 games every month as part of the PS Plus program. For the current month of May, those free games include Farming Simulator 19 and Cities: Skyline which will stay free until June 2.
The way it usually goes is one AAA-esque game is chosen and one smaller indie game wraps up the list. For the larger game, we suspect Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is looking like a very possible contender for a few reasons.
Firstly, it seems Sony has been trying to get every entry of the Uncharted series offered for free in one way or another as of late. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was free on PS Plus in April 2020, and the previous three games in the Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection were on PS Plus in January 2020 and then again in April 2020 as part of Sony’s Stay at Home Initiative in recognition of self-isolation rules amid COVID-19.
Not to mention Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception being offered on PS Plus way back in June 2013 and Uncharted: Golden Abyss in November 2012.
Secondly, The Lost Legacy has seen significant price drops and sales in the last year or so. Currently it is only priced at $19.99 after its original price of $39.99 at release, and it was recently on sale for only $12.99 from March 18-31.
If you don’t see Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for free next month specifically, then don’t be surprised to see it sometime very soon if Sony keeps up its trend of offering its older exclusives for free.
