Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Complete Label Fashion Challenges (Labelle)

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Label is one of the three Abel sisters you can meet in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Just like her sisters, she’s all about clothes, but she won’t just be wandering around the Abel Sisters shop. Instead, she’ll be waiting around your Plaza with a fashion challenge for you to complete. Here’s how to complete Label fashion challenges in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Label won’t just start showing up on your island from the very beginning of the game.

Unlocking Label by Building Abel Sisters

You’ll first need to unlock and build the Abel Sisters shop. This is done after you’ve bought clothing items from Mabel a few times when she brings her pop-up shop to your Plaza.

Eventually, you’ll be told that the Abel Sisters want to set up shop and Tom Nook will ask you to place the building construction kit wherever you want the shop to be on your island. Once this is placed, wait a day, and it’ll be ready for you to check out.

Where & When Does Label Come to Your Island?

Once you’ve got the Abel Sisters shop set up, Label can seemingly come to your island at any point. That being said, Label will always be at the Plaza, just outside your Resident Services (Town Hall) building.

As such, we suggest going and checking your Plaza every morning just to see if Label is there. Once she is, go over and speak to her, and she’ll tell you all about her fashion label, Labelle, and the fashion challenge she wants you to complete.

Completing Label Fashion Challenges in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

These fashion challenges require you to make an outfit that matches the single item that Label gives you that needs to be incorporated into the look. The easiest way of doing this is to remember what types of clothes go into which category.

That’s because Label will ask you to make your outfit have a specific style. These are:

  • Comfy
  • Everyday
  • Fairy Tale
  • Formal
  • Gothic
  • Outdoorsy
  • Sporty
  • Theatrical
  • Vacation
  • Work

For things like sports wear, you might want to wear a soccer or basketball shirt. The ‘Work’ style might require a dress or suit, while the sporty or vacation styles can be more casual clothing likes shorts and t-shirts.

Once Label has given you the style you need to adopt and the item you’ll need to incorporate, simply head to your home and find any clothing that’ll fit the style.

If you don’t have clothes that meet the style, you can always check the Abel Sisters shop and see if they do.

With your outfit complete, return to Label and depending on how well you’ve matched your outfit to her fashion style, you’ll be rewarded for your efforts.

All Label Fashion Challenge Rewards

There are three different types of rewards you can get for completing these fashion challenges that Label gives you. We’ve listed them all below:

  • An item of Labelle clothing – this is Label’s very own fashion label.
  • The piece of clothing Label asked you to incorporate into your fashionable outfit.
  • Tailors Ticket – Worth 3,000 Bells in Abel Sisters.
