If you’re eager to try Phantasy Star Online 2 but you didn’t get into the recent close beta, a new chance is coming soon.
As announced today on the official Twitter account of the game, perspective players will have the chance to try out an open beta on March 17.
The open beta will start at 5:00 pm PDT on that day, and it’ll be “first on Xbox One.” At the moment, we don’t know when the PC version will launch.
The localized version of Phantasy Star Online 2 will include both English and Japanese voice acting.
We also recently learned that there won’t be any region locking, so if you want to play from Europe or any other region, you can. On top of that, the game will support 4K resolution on Xbox One X.
At the moment, only Xbox One and PC versions have been announced. That being said, Phil Spencer himself went on record mentioning that the game will likely make it to other platforms, even if no further information was shared on that topic.
In the meanwhile, Sega is preparing to launch the sixth expansion on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Japan, where the game is still going strong, enough to get a physical release.
