Continuing the MSQ in FFXIV Patch 5.2

With the release of patch 5.2 in FFXIV, players will be able to continue the main story, as well as dive into a whole slew of new optional content like the second tier of Eden verses. Before anything else, though, you’ll probably want to check in to see what’s going on with the Scions.

First things first, you’ll need to have caught up with all the main story quests up to this point. This includes the latest quest which was released during the last patch, titled Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty. Once you’ve completed that, you’ll be able to dive into the new MSQ in 5.2.

To get started, head to the Rising Stones in Mor Dhona. Head inside and you’ll find Krile with a new quest titled Old Enemies, New Threats. This will get you started on the new line of MSQs, and all you have to do is follow your objective markers to progress through the story and check out the new level 80 dungeon as well.

And, of course, you’ll need to already have a Disciple of War or Magic class at level 80 in order to do the new stuff.

To recap, here’s how to continue the MSQ in FFXIV patch 5.2:

  1. You’ll first need to have caught up with all patch content, including the latest mission titled Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty.

  2. Head to the Rising Stones headquarters in Mor Dhona.

  3. Talk to Krile to get started.

That’s all you need to know about how to continue the MSQ in FFXIV patch 5.2. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game, and we’ll have more info on the new patch 5.2 content coming up soon.
